Purpose, Function
The radiator disperses the engine coolant heat flowing internally by receiving air flow against the vehicle while it is driven or produced by the cooling fan.
The air seal cowl guides cool air flow efficiently across the entire surface of the radiator.
Construction
The radiator is located at the front part in the engine compartment.
The air seal cowl is located between the front bumper and radiator.
Vibration is absorbed via the six supporting mount rubbers attached to the radiator.
A cross-flow type radiator has been adopted.
Corrugated fins have been adopted to the core fins.
A plastic tank material and aluminum core material have been adopted to achieve weight reduction.
An ATF oil cooler is built into the tank (outlet side).
