QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR (EMISSION SYSTEM) [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]

U.S.A. and CANADA Specs.

Purpose, Function

  • Serviceability has been improved by easy disconnection/connection of the quick release connector.

Construction

  • Quick release connectors are located on the following:

  • An SST is not used with this type of the quick release connector.

  • Consists of retainer and O-ring.

  • The quick release connector is integrated with the evaporative hose and therefore cannot be disassembled.

  • The hose does not pull out because the retainer tabs become caught against the ring projection of the charcoal canister.

  • When removing the quick release connector, press the retainer tabs from both sides as shown in the figure and remove the connector.
