TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM OPERATION RECORD
Purpose/Function
The DSC HU/CM stores the operation records and the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS) reads out the operation records and indicates them as shown in the figure below:
NOTE:
M-MDS indication is indicated in brackets
Tire pressure monitoring system set switch operation record (TPMS Learning Reset Button Record)
The DSC HU/CM implements the tire pressure monitoring system initialization by pressing the tire pressure monitoring system set switch, and it simultaneously records the following items for a maximum 3 times from the current record as the operation record.
Elapsed days (Elapsed days)
NOTE:
The M-MDS displays the elapsed days from the start of initialization until the operation record verification with the M-MDS.
If the operation record has not been recorded, 65,535 days is displayed however this does not indicate a malfunction.
Total traveled distance (Odometer)
Tire pressure monitoring system warning light illumination operation record (TPMS Warning Light illumination)
< Previous Next >
If the DSC HU/CM detects a low tire pressure, it outputs a tire pressure monitoring system warning light illumination signal, and it simultaneously records the following items for a maximum 3 times from the current record as the operation record.
Elapsed days (Elapsed days)
NOTE:
The M-MDS displays the elapsed days from when the low tire pressure was detected until the operation record verification with the M-MDS.
If the operation record has not been recorded, 65,535 days is displayed however this does not indicate a malfunction.
Total traveled distance (Odometer)
Vehicle speed (Speed)
Maximum vehicle speed (Maximum vehicle speed)
NOTE:
Vehicle speed until the tire pressure monitoring system set switch is pressed from the illumination of the tire pressure monitoring warning light due to a low tire pressure
