SEAT WARMER CONTROL UNIT

Purpose

  • The seat warmer control unit supplies power to the filaments built into the seat warmer unit.

Function

  • The seat warmer control unit detects the seat warmer unit temperature by the current output to the thermistor built into the seat warmer unit.

  • When the seat warmer control unit detects that the temperature around the seat warmer unit exceeds the set value based on the current output to the thermistor, the power supply is cut off to the seat warmer unit, and the temperature is decreased below the specified temperature.

  • When the seat warmer control unit detects that the temperature around the seat warmer unit decreases below the specified temperature based on the current output to the thermistor, power is supplied to the seat warmer unit again to increase the temperature up to the specified temperature.

Construction

  • The seat warmer control unit is located on the bottom of the passenger's seat.
