TRUNK LID RELEASE ACTUATOR

Purpose, Function

  • The latch of the trunk lid latch lever is released based on the signal from the electrical supply unit (ESU).

Construction

  • The trunk lid release actuator has a built-in motor, and the trunk lid latch lever moves in the release direction in conjunction with the motor rotation.

Operation

  • The trunk lid release actuator rotates the built-in motor based on the trunk lid release control signal from the electrical supply unit (ESU), and releases the latch of the trunk lid latch lever.

Fail-safe

  • Not applicable
