CONVERTIBLE TOP SWITCH

Purpose, Function

  • The convertible top switch turns on/off in conjunction with the movement of link B and outputs the convertible top open/closed condition to the power window control module.

Switch condition

Convertible top condition

ON

Open

OFF

Closed

NOTE:

  • The convertible top open signal/convertible top close signal sent by the top lock switch and convertible top is used by the power window control module for controlling the convertible top interlock open operation. Refer to the [POWER WINDOW SYSTEM] for details. (See POWER WINDOW SYSTEM.)

Construction

  • The convertible top switch is located on the link support part (LH) of the convertible top.

  • The convertible top switch is integrated with the convertible top.

Operation

  • When link B moves to the position of 94—104° from the fully-closed position, assist links A and B connected with link B move to turn the convertible top switch on/off.

Fail-safe

  • Not applicable
