PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
Refer To The Workshop Manual For Detailed Adjustment Procedures
The steps in this inspection sheet are designed for efficient movement around the vehicle.
Problems found during inspection should be noted on a repair order.
Unless otherwise stated, each item should be inspected for fit, appearance and/or operation.
Inspection items followed by an asterisk (*) are required only if the vehicle is equipped with that feature.
Pre-Delivery Inspection Table
General
□Check vehicle for any open Recalls, SSPs, or MSPs, and available updates for audio/navigation systems □Install/assemble all loose or packaged parts in the glove box and trunk/cargo areaExterior
INSPECT and ADJUST, if necessary, the following items to specification: □REMOVE all protective wrap, covers, and window stickers□Glass, exterior bright metal and paint for damage □Convertible top for damage □Power retractable hardtop for damage □Door and liftgate* operation (Open/Close) □All weather strips for damage or detachment □Operation of hood release and lock, trunk release*, and fuel-filler lid opener □Security/keyless entry devices (Doors locking/unlocking by transmitter)* □Advanced keyless entry (Doors locking/unlocking by request switches)*
Unless the vehicle is scheduled for display or immediate delivery, do not remove the exterior protective film or interior protective covering during inspection
Under hood-engine off
INSPECT and ADJUST, if necessary, the following items: □INSTALL Fuses for accessories□Fuel, engine coolant, and hydraulic lines, fittings, connections, and components for leaks □Engine oil level □Brake/clutch fluid level □Windshield washer reservoir fluid level □Radiator coolant level □Tightness of battery terminals, electrolyte level and voltage (12.4 V) Record the voltage and electrolyte specific gravity in the table below. <Judgment Criteria>

Please refer to the Service-Information (E039/12A) to get the detail battery inspection procedure.
If the cell with the lowest specific gravity is less than 1.17, replace the battery
If the cell with the lowest specific gravity is 1.17 or more, recharge the battery, after charging if the cell with the lowest specific gravity is less than 1.25, replace the battery.

Interior
INSPECT the operations of the following items: □Secure floor mats to hooks. □Parking brake □Verify that warning lights (check engine, brake, engine oil, charging system, ABS, TPMS) stay on for a few seconds after engine startLeave Engine Idling In Park Until Reaching Operating Temperature
□Horn, front/rear wipers, and washers. Wiper blades performance (Clean wiper blades and windshield, if necessary).
□Headlight cleaner (Washer fluid injection)*
□Interior and exterior lights, dash switches, headlight leveling switch. (Set position to 0)*
□Audio system (Power/Volume/sound controls, Radio, CD player, including steering wheel audio controls)
□Heater and A/C (driver, passenger) and front defroster in all mode settings
□Turn on navigation system. (Present location indication)*
□Adjust clock, dash panel and navigation system*
□Power window initialization (if battery was discharged during inventory storage).
□Door locks
INSPECT the following items:
□Upholstery and interior finish
□Check operation of any dealer installed accessories
Turn Engine Off And raise Vehicle On Lift
ON hoist
INSPECT the following items: □REMOVE under cover □Tires for cuts or bruises □Underside fuel, coolant and hydraulic lines, fittings, connections, and components for leaks □Steering linkage, suspension, exhaust system, and all underside hardware for looseness or damage □INSTALL under coverLower Vehicle And Remove From Lift
□Tire pressures (See tire label located on driver’s side B-pillar or edge driver’s of door frame for specification.)
□Initialize the TPMS*. Switch the ignition ON, then press and hold TPMS SET switch until the TPMS warning light and one beep flashes twice is heard.
□Spare Tire pressures (See tire label located on driver’s side B-pillar or edge driver’s of door frame for specification.)*
□Flat tire repair kit*

Road test-engine running at operating temperature
INSPECT the following items: □Steering operation (steering wheel centered, drift or pull, and power assist) □Brake operation □Engine general performance □Squeaks, rattles, and abnormal noises □Warning lights are off □Verify navigation system receives GPS signal (vehicle follows map)*After road test
The following items must be completed just before delivery to your customer. □Tire pressures (See tire label located on driver’s side B-pillar or edge driver’s of door frame for specification.) □Initialize the TPMS*. Switch the ignition ON, then press and hold TPMS SET switch until the TPMS warning light and one beep flashes twice is heard.NOTE:
Only when the condition TPMS initialization required. Refer to the Work Shop Manual.
