DETECTION CONDITION

• C0044:01

• Brake fluid pressure sensor voltage outside of specified value.

• C0044:28

• Brake fluid pressure sensor pressure outside of specified value.

• C0044:49

• Brake fluid pressure sensor signal outside of specified value.

• C0044:54

• No brake fluid pressure sensor initialization is detected.

FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION

• Refer to “Fail-safe function table”. (See DTC TABLE [DSC HU/CM].)

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• The initialization procedure for the brake fluid pressure sensor has not been performed

• Brake fluid pressure sensor malfunction

• Has the brake fluid pressure sensor initialization procedure been performed?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Perform the brake fluid pressure sensor initialization procedure, then go to the next step.

(See DSC RELATED PARTS SENSOR INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE.)

• Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the DSC HU/CM.

  (See CLEARING DTC [DSC HU/CM].)

• Using the M-MDS, perform the DSC HU/CM DTC inspection.

  (See DTC INSPECTION [DSC HU/CM].)

• Is the same DTC present?

Yes

Replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step.

(See DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

No

Go to the next step.

• Are any DTCs present?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

(See DTC TABLE [DSC HU/CM].)

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.
