i-ACTIVSENSE PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING PROCEDURE

CAUTION:

  • The personalization feature may not be set correctly if [Not Adopted.] or [Not equipped] is selected in the setting displayed on the M-MDS. Do not select [Not Adopted.] or [Not equipped] in the setting displayed on the M-MDS.

Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)

Using M-MDS
1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. After vehicle identification, select the following from the M-MDS initialization screen.
a. “Module programming”
b. “Programmable Parameters”
3. Select menu in the “IC”.
4. Select an item name, and than select option.

Adaptive Front-lighting System

The adaptive front lighting system (AFS) can be switched between operable and inoperable.

Using center display
  • For the setting procedure of the personalization features using the center display, refer to "CENTER DISPLAY PERSONALIZATION FEATURES". (See CENTER DISPLAY PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING PROCEDURE.)

Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) System

Using M-MDS
1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. After vehicle identification, select the following from the M-MDS initialization screen.
a. “Module programming”
b. “Programmable Parameters”
3. Select menu in the “IC”.
4. Select an item name, and than select option.

BSM Volume.

The volume of the blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning alarm can be changed.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

Using M-MDS (LDWS timing or LDWS warning)
1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. After vehicle identification, select the following from the M-MDS initialization screen.
a. “Module programming“
b. “Programmable Parameters”
3. Select menu in the “FSC”.
4. Select an item name, and than select option.

LDWS Timing.

The distance between the warning-trigger lines for the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and vehicle lanes can be changed.

Forward sensing camera (FSC)

LDWS Warning.

The warning operation sensitivity of the lane departure warning system (LDWS) can be changed.

Often / Medium / Rare

Using M-MDS (LDWS sound)
1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. After vehicle identification, select the following from the M-MDS initialization screen.
a. “Module programming”
b. “Programmable Parameters”
3. Select menu in the “IC”.
4. Select an item name, and than select option.
