ACCESSORY SOCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Disconnect the connector.

3. While pressing the cap tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, press the accessory socket in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the cap tabs from the accessory socket.

4. Detach all the tabs of the cap from the accessory socket and remove the accessory socket from the cap.
5. While pressing the cap tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the cap in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the cap tabs from the A/C unit.

6. Detach all the tabs of the cap from the A/C unit and remove the cap from the A/C unit.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
