CONTROL SYSTEM PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING PROCEDURE

CAUTION:

  • The personalization feature may not be set correctly if [Not equipped] is selected in the setting displayed on the M-MDS. Do not select [Not equipped] in the setting displayed on the M-MDS.

NOTE:

  • Settings of some personalization features displayed on the M-MDS cannot be switched depending on the vehicle specification.

Auto Light-Off System

Using M-MDS
1. Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.
  • Select the "Module Programming".

  • Select "Programmable Parameters".

  • Select menu in the BCM.

3. Select an item name, and then select option.

Headlight Off Timer

The headlight emitted time of the auto light off timer can be changed.

30 seconds.

0 seconds./30 seconds./60 seconds./90 seconds./120 seconds.

Auto light system

Using M-MDS
1. Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.
  • Select the "Module Programming".

  • Select "Programmable Parameters".

  • Select menu in the BCM.

3. Select an item name, and then select option.

Auto Headlight On

Auto light sensitivity can be changed.

Standard (All Others)

Extra Low (Except Japan)/Low (All Others)/Standard (All Others)/High (Except Japan)/Extra High (Except Japan)

  • (See CENTER DISPLAY PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING PROCEDURE.)

NOTE:

  • When the system is set to [Extra High] or [High], each light turns on when the ambient light is brighter than when the system is set to [Standard] because the illumination level required to turn on the headlights LO, TNS and panel light increases. When the system is set to "Extra Low" or "Low", because the illumination level required to turn on the headlights LO, TNS and panel light decreases, each light turns on when the ambient light is darker than when the system is set to "Standard".

  • The personalization feature may not be set correctly if [Jpan Only] such as [Extra High (Jpan Only)] is selected. Do not select [Jpan Only].

Turn light system

Using M-MDS
1. Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.
  • Select the "Module Programming".

  • Select "Programmable Parameters".

  • Select menu in the BCM.

3. Select an item name, and then select option.

Coming Home Light System

Using M-MDS
1. Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.
  • Select the "Module Programming".

  • Select "Programmable Parameters".

  • Select menu in the BCM.

3. Select an item name, and then select option.

Coming Home Light operation time

The coming home light system operation time can be switched.

Leaving Home Light System

Room light control system

3. Select an item name, and then select option.

Interior Light Timeout-Door Open.

The map light illumination time after a door is opened can be changed.

30 minutes.

The map light illumination time after all doors are closed can be changed.

15 seconds.

15 seconds./7.5 seconds./30 seconds./60 seconds.

Auto wiper system

Using M-MDS
1. Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.

3. Select an item name, and then select option.

Auto Wiper

The auto wiper function can be disabled.

On (Rain Sensing)

When the system is set to [Off (Intermittent)] and the windshield wiper switch is in the AUTO position, the windshield wipers operate intermittently.

Power Door Lock System

1. Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.

3. Select an item name, and then select option.

  • The following setting can be changed by operation of the door lock switch.

BCM

  • Change the setting for the auto door lock referring to the following procedure:

NOTE:

  • If any of the following conditions is met during procedure, the setting change for the auto door lock is stopped.

    • Lock side of the door lock switch is pressed while in the personalization mode.

    • Unlock side of the door lock switch is pressed 7 times while in the personalization mode. (AT)

    • Unlock side of the door lock switch is pressed 4 times while in the personalization mode. (MT)
