INTAKE MANIFOLD [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]

Purpose, Function

  • The intake manifold distributes intake air to each cylinder evenly.

  • The shape and length are designed so that fresh air is introduced to each cylinder according to the engine conditions. As a result, an optimum combustion efficiency has been achieved.

Construction

  • The intake manifold is located on the cylinder head.

  • Plastic material has been adopted for fine formation and weight reduction.
