PASSENGER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]

Purpose, Function

  • The passenger compartment temperature sensor converts the detected cabin temperature to an electric signal.

Construction

  • A thermistor-type passenger compartment temperature sensor has been adopted.

  • The passenger compartment temperature sensor is located on the lower panel (driver-side).

Operation

  • The thermistor changes the resistance according to the surrounding temperature.

  • The resistance decreases if the temperature increases, and increases if the temperature decreases.

Fail-safe

  • Not applicable
