STEERING SWITCH [WITHOUT CENTER DISPLAY]

Purpose, Function

  • Operation of the entertainment system and changing of the trip computer system display are possible without a change in driving posture.

Construction

  • The steering switch is located on the spoke of the steering wheel.

  • The resistance is built into each switch.

Without Bluetooth® unit
  • The steering switch consists of the following buttons and switches.

    • Volume adjustment switch (+) and (-)

    • Cue/automatic band selector (up) and (down)

    • INFO button

    • Mute button

With Bluetooth® unit
  • The steering switch consists of the following buttons and switches.

    • Volume adjustment switch (+) and (-)

    • Cue/automatic band selector (up) and (down)

    • INFO button

    • Talk button

    • Pick-up button

    • Hang-up button

Operation

Switch name

Volume adjustment switch

Audio volume can be adjusted.

Cue/Automatic band selector switch

Cue of CD tracks and selection of radio band are possible.

Mute button (Without Bluetooth® unit)

Audio volume can be muted. Pressing again after muting returns to previous volume level.

INFO button

Instrument cluster display can be changed. Refer to [TRIP COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEM] for display content. (See TRIP COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEM.)

Talk button (With Bluetooth® unit)

Launches the voice recognition function.

Pick-up button (With Bluetooth® unit)

Receives a phone call.

Hang-up button (With Bluetooth® unit)

Hangs up a phone call.
