GENERATOR DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]

1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

2	Stator coil component
3	Pulley
4	Rotor
5	Front bearing
6	Rear bearing
7	Front cover
8	Stator coil
9	Rectifier
10	Regulator component
11	Brush (See Brush Disassembly Note.) (See Brush Assembly Note.)
12	Rear cover
13	Terminal B component

Brush Disassembly Note

CAUTION:

Melt the solder quickly, otherwise the diodes (rectifier) and regulator will be damaged by excessive heat.

1. Melt the solder and remove the brush from the regulator component.

Brush Assembly Note

CAUTION:

Melt the solder quickly, otherwise the diodes (rectifier) and regulator will be damaged by excessive heat.

1. Press the brush into the regulator component with it facing in the direction shown in the figure.

2. Solder the brush to the regulator component.
