BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]

1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Battery Tray Removal Note

1. Remove the wiring harness clip from the battery tray.

2. Remove the battery tray.

Battery Tray Installation Note

1. Set the battery tray to the installation position.
2. Tighten the battery tray installation bolts in the order shown in the figure.

    Tightening torque
  • 22—30 N·m {2.3—3.0 kgf·m, 17—22 ft·lbf}

3. Install the wiring harness clip to the battery tray.

Battery Box Installation Note

1. Install the battery box so that the side with the larger notch is pointed at the engine side.

Battery Clamp Installation Note

1. Install the battery clamp in the direction shown in the figure.

Negative Battery Cable Connection Note

1. Connect the negative battery cable terminal in the direction shown in the figure.
