DETECTION CONDITION

  • U0001:88

    • Open or short circuit in CAN system wiring harness is detected.

  • U0100:00

    • Communication error to PCM is detected.

  • U0101:00

    • Communication error to TCM is detected.

  • U012B:00

    • Communication error to EVP control unit is detected.

  • U0131:00

    • Communication error to EPS control module is detected.

  • U0151:00

    • Communication error to SAS control module is detected.

  • U0155:00

    • Communication error to instrument cluster is detected.

FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION

  • Refer to “Fail-safe function table”. (See DTC TABLE [DSC HU/CM].)

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • CAN communication line malfunction

  • CAN communication line malfunction with PCM

  • CAN communication line malfunction with TCM

  • CAN communication line malfunction with EVP control unit

  • CAN communication line malfunction with EPS control module

  • CAN communication line malfunction with SAS control module

  • CAN communication line malfunction with instrument cluster

  • Instrument cluster malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

  • Perform inspection according to the diagnostic procedure in MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW.)
