KEYLESS RECEIVER INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
b. Seat (LH) (See SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
c. Scuff plate (LH) (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
d. Tire house trim (LH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
e. Side shelf (LH) (See SIDE SHELF REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Disconnect the connector from the keyless receiver.
4. Remove the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Reconnect the connector.
6. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
7. Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
  • If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.

    • If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
