KEYLESS RECEIVER INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Remove the following parts:a. Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)b. Seat (LH) (See SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)c. Scuff plate (LH) (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)d. Tire house trim (LH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)e. Side shelf (LH) (See SIDE SHELF REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Disconnect the connector from the keyless receiver.
4. Remove the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Reconnect the connector.
6. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
7. Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
