POWER OUTER MIRROR

Purpose

  • The power outer mirror moves the outer mirror glass in the up/down and left/right directions using the up/down adjustment motor and left/right adjustment motor.

Function

  • The up/down adjustment motor and left/right adjustment motor turn clockwise (down/right direction) or counterclockwise (up/left direction).

Construction

  • The up/down adjustment motor and left/right adjustment motor are located on the outer mirror glass.

Operation

Up/down adjustment motor (Example: operating outer mirror glass upward)
1. When the motor rotates counterclockwise, the rib projects (1).
2. The rib pushes up the outer mirror glass and the outer mirror glass operates upward (2).

Left/right adjustment motor (Example: Operating outer mirror glass in left direction)
1. When the motor rotates counterclockwise, the rib projects (1).
2. The rib pushes up the outer mirror glass and the outer mirror glass operates in the left direction (2).
