DTC B1A89:13 [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT]

Description	SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder circuit malfunction
Detection condition	The connectivity master unit (CMU) detects an open circuit in SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder circuit with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe function	Not applicable
Possible cause	Tuner and amp unit (TAU) connector or terminal malfunction Antenna feeder No.2 connector or terminal malfunction Open circuit in antenna feeder No.2 SiriusXM satellite radio antenna connector malfunction SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder malfunction SiriusXM satellite radio antenna malfunction Tuner and amp unit (TAU) malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	INSPECT TUNER AND AMP UNIT (TAU) CONNECTOR CONDITION Switch the ignition off. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.) Disconnect the tuner and amp unit (TAU) connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 7.
2	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO.2 CONNECTOR CONDITION Disconnect the antenna feeder No.2 connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 7.
3	INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER NO.2 Inspect the antenna feeder No.2. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO.2 INSPECTION.) Is the antenna feeder No.2 normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Replace the antenna feeder No.2, then go to Step 7. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4	INSPECT SiriusXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA CONNECTOR CONDITION Disconnect the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna connector. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection. Is the connector normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 7.
5	INSPECT SiriusXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER Inspect the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder. (See SiriusXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER INSPECTION.) Is the SiriusXM satellite radio feeder normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Replace the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder, then go to Step 7. (See SiriusXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
6	INSPECT SiriusXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA Inspect the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna. (See SiriusXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA INSPECTION.) Is the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Replace the SiriusXM satellite radio antenna, then go to the next step. (See SiriusXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
7	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Always reconnect all disconnected connectors. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.) Clear the DTC for the connectivity master unit (CMU) using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT].) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 7 s or more. Retrieve the connectivity master unit (CMU) DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT].) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the tuner and amp unit (TAU). (See TUNER AND AMP UNIT (TAU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) Go to the next step.
		No	Go to the next step.
8	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
